Bio
Mukundwe Siame is a Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Arts, Languages and Literary Studies at The University of Zambia, where he teaches French Language and Literature. He holds a Master’s Degree in Francophone Literature, jointly awarded by the University of Zambia and University of Lubumbashi. His research interests include African Postcolonial Studies, Postmodernist Literature, 20th century French Literature as well as Translation and Interpreting. His academic work focuses on language, culture, as well as postcolonial and postmodernist discourse in African literature and society. He has also actively contributed to developing French teaching modules and syllabi at various educational levels for the recently introduced Competence-Based Curriculum in the Zambian education system.
