The University of Zambia (UNZA) continues to shine on the international stage! We are immensely proud to announce the appointment of two of our esteemed academic staff members to prestigious UNESCO Global Expert Groups.
Prof. Sody Munsaka (Dean, School of Health Sciences) Prof. Munsaka has been appointed to the UNESCO Expert Group tasked with developing the first-ever global standard-setting instrument on the Ethics of Neurotechnology. His expertise will help shape how the world balances technological advancement with human rights.
Dr. Sanny Mulubale (Senior Lecturer, School of Education) Dr. Mulubale has been selected for the UNESCO Group focused on the Preventative Plan of Action to Protect Education from Attack. This appointment recognises his dedication to citizenship education, peace-building, and emergency crisis response.
These appointments not only highlight the individual excellence of our staff but also reinforce UNZA’s position as a hub of research and intellectual leadership in Africa and beyond.
