Prof. Bizeck Jube Phiri is Professor of History in the Department of Historical and Archaeological Studies in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. He has published extensively on the political history of Zambia and civil military relations in Southern Africa. He has served in Senate and several Committees of Senate and Council of the University of Zambia. Prof. Bizeck Jube Phiri served as Dean of Student Affairs, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Head of Department as well as Assistant Dean in the School of Education and School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

1991: Ph.D. in History, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada.

1983: Master of Arts in History, University of Zambia, Lusaka.

1980: Bachelor of Arts with Education, University of Zambia, Lusaka.
