Author Guidelines
General presentationManuscripts should be presented succinctly and clearly in English. The introductory and preliminary material including literature review, should not surpass what is necessary to indicate the reason for the work and the necessary background. The manuscript should be customised to the American Psychological Association (APA) Referencing System. All submissions should be prepared with Microsoft Word in format. The point size should be 12 point and the typeface Times New Roman. The margins should be three centimeters each side. Articles should be single-line spaced including the abstract, Tables, captions or legends and references. Since ZJEMAL only accepts and review blinded copied manuscripts, corresponding authors should only include that email addresses. Once accepted for publication, the article will need a statement from the author to affirm that the manuscript has not been published or simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere.
The Title
This should be brief, concise and appropriately informative. It should also contain all keywords necessary to facilitate retrieval by modern searching techniques. If the article is one of a numbered series, a reference to the previous part should be given as a footnote on the first page. If a part not yet published needs to be consulted for a proper understanding of the article, a copy of that manuscript should be supplied to assist the referees.
Abstract
The Abstract, preferably containing 120- 220, words should state concisely the scope of the work and give the principal findings. It should be sufficiently complete for direct use by abstracting services. Acronyms and references should be avoided in the Abstract.
Text
The text should normally be divided into sections, e.g. Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments, References. All main headings should be in upper and lower case bold type aligned left. Minor headings should be in light italics. As per American Psychological Association (Sixth Edition) guidelines, text should not be justified at the right.
References
References should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) (Sixth Edition) style in alphabetical order.
Tables
Each Table should be numbered consecutively. In Tables, footnotes are preferable to long explanatory material in either the heading or body of the Table. Such explanatory footnotes, identified by superscript letters, should be placed immediately below the Table. Please provide a caption (without abbreviations) to each table, refer to the Table in the text and note its approximate location in the margin. Finally, please place the Tables after the figure legends in the manuscript.
Copyright
Before the manuscript can be sent for proof, authors will be required to sign a copyright transfer form. A copyright transfer form can be obtained from the editorial office. If the article is not accepted for publication after proof, the copyright form will be returned to the authors.
Final Proof
Galley proofs will be sent to the corresponding author for final corrections via e-mail. Alterations other than the correction of printing errors may require the approval of the editor and will be charged to the corresponding author. If you have any difficulties, or you have any queries, please contact the Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor via e-mail
